2. Should I purchase travel insurance?
Yes. You are spending thousands of dollars on your vacation, and we recommend protecting your vacation by purchasing travel insurance. Travel insurance provides coverage if you have to cancel your trip due to injury, sickness, or death. In addition, most policies offer a waiver of all pre-existing medical conditions and cover most unexpected occurrences. This insurance will also cover you if you have a medical emergency during your trip, or if your baggage is lost or damaged.

There are many types of travel insurance, but we highly recommend Travelex because it is one of the most comprehensive and gay friendly.

3. How do I get a passport?
You may apply for a passport at your local post office. Many cities also have local passport offices. For further information regarding obtaining a passport, please consult: http://travel.state.gov/passport/passport_1738.html

Also, please keep in mind that you will need to allow 6-8 weeks for your passport to be processed.

4. What is the single supplement or the share?
There are 2 ways to travel as a single on a charter cruise like Atlantis, Source Events, RSVP, etc. First, you can book the entire cabin yourself and pay double. Second, you can go as a share. A share is when you are matched up with a cabin mate in the category you want.

5. When should I book my flight to arrive for the cruise departure?
We highly recommend that you arrive the day before your cruise departs. If you are late for any reason and miss the ship and do not have Trip Insurance, it will cost you time as well as money to catch up to the ship.

6. When should I board the ship?
We suggest that you allow plenty of time and get to the ship early and spend the day lounging around or touring the ship. Remember that you will have to go through security like an airport. Also, the earliest time to board will be posted in your boarding documents.
