Land of Gods and Heroes
Join Source Events for a magical week of tall ship sailing in the Eastern Mediterranean aboard S.V. Star Clipper. To experience the Greek Islands by sea is nothing less than extraordinary.
Sparkling blue waters, hidden coves, and secluded beaches make the Greek Islands the perfect playground for a week of fun, exploration and celebration. Once home to rival crusaders, Gods and Heroes, you can explore the ancient classical sites or simply loose yourself in the winding cobble stoned streets of white-washed island villages and wonderful tavernas.
We’ll follow the routes of ancient Greek mariners, taking you from Athens, the seat of democracy, to Kusadasi on the Turkish coast and on to Mykonos. A mecca for the rich and famous, Mykonos has long been a favorite gay travel destination. This magical island has it all; beautiful people, vibrant nightlife, world class dinning and pristine white sand beaches.
Who could ask for more?
Ports of Call
Athens is the seat of democracy, site of the Acropolis, and home to world class museums. A vibrant city, busting with life where you can see evidence of its classical roots around every corner
Kusadasiis gateway to the East and the magnificent site of Ephesus. A stunning standout among the ancient ruins remaining in the world today. Ephesus was the honeymoon playground of Anthony and Cleopatra.
Patmos has something for everyone, the culturally inclined, sun worshippers, shoppers, and those just seeking to unwind. I is also a place of pilgrimage for Christians as it was here that St. John wrote his divine revelation the Apocalypse.
Santorini is unique and breathtakingly beautiful. Gaze in wonder at the Caldera, site of one of the biggest volcanic eruptions in history. Savor the spectacular sunset.
Mykonos is a longtime favorite gay travel destination. This magical island has it all... beautiful people, vibrant nightlife, world class dining, and pristine white sand beaches.
Sifnos is a sheer delight with terraced olive groves, almond treesoleanders nestling in its valleys, and pretty white sand beaches lining its shores.
